Heat pumps are reliable. That reliability is exactly why they get ignored for a decade, and why the first sign of trouble for most households is a cold shower rather than a warning light. A service is not an upsell ritual. It is somebody competent putting eyes and instruments on the thing before it decides for you.
We service heat pump hot water systems we installed and systems installed by somebody else, including brands we do not sell. If your system is under a manufacturer warranty, we will tell you when the right call is a warranty claim rather than a paid repair.

How often should a heat pump be serviced?
Check the manufacturer's recommendation for your specific system first, because it varies by brand and some warranties are conditional on it. As a practical rule, a system that has not been looked at in several years is worth booking in, and one showing any of the signs above is worth booking in now.
Do you service brands you do not install?
Yes. Our installation list is deliberately short, but servicing and fault-finding covers heat pump hot water systems generally, and we have a long history with electric continuous flow and instantaneous units as well.
Is it worth repairing an old system?
Sometimes. The calculation is the cost of the repair, the age of the unit, whether the failure is a symptom of something structural, and what a replacement with rebates deducted would actually cost you. We will show you both numbers rather than pushing you at one.
Do you do general plumbing repairs while you are here?
No. Hot water systems and directly related work is the whole scope of this business. We would rather tell you that up front than half-do something outside our trade.
